This is the best fight at 135 right now for Broner. DeMarco is coming off wins over Linares and Molina, two Top 10 LW's. Great fight.

You do know that EVERYONE was calling for Floyd-Mosley when it happened, and Shane's last fight out he stopped Margarito. He was the man at 147, and it was Shane's own fault that fight didn't happen back in 05-06. And Cotto is past his prime-still good, he's still a top fighter. Enough with the hate man, seriously. The only reason people discredit Mosley WHEN Mayweather fought him is because Pac ducked that Mosley and yet later fought him when he hadn't even won a fight since beating Margarito.

People want to forget that Floyd was such a coward and scared for his life to fight Mosley up until the fight was signed. After Floyd beat Mosley what happened? They all forgot how much Floyd was soo coward and soo scared of Mosley that they began to talk of how old/shot/dead he was even though he was the WW Champion. People also like to forget that Mosley ducked Floyd years ago because he had tooth problems... yet Floyd was supposed to be the one that was scared.

These same simple minded noobs will say the exact same thing if Floyd fights Pac and Martinez and beats both. As a matter of fact, this scard talk is the same song and dance these haters have been doing for years.

They cry and cry and cry for Floyd to fight so and so and that Floyd is so scared this guy or that guy. Yet when he fights those guys, after the fact, they cry even more that it did happened and start making excuses as to why Floyd beat the guy he was supposed to be so scared of. It's been going down like that for years...

You are right. Shane KO'd Marg and Roach and Pac avoided him like the plague. Shane was even wiling to drain himself to 143 and they still didn't want it. Roach told him to his face "You're too good".

Fast forward him getting his ass kicked by Mayweather and looking like garbage against Mora and then all of sudden Manny wants the fight after Bob BLASTED Shane for being old and shot.

Remember all those grandpa Mosley pictures? You are right on the money.

If Cotto beating Mosley in 2007, when Shane was past his prime-still good, was a really good win, than Floyd beating Cotto in 2012 was a really good win too. That's the way I see it.

People even said before Floyd-Cotto was signed that "Floyd will fight Alvarez at 154, and duck Cotto again. He should fight Cotto though, his best option aside from Manny right now". He signs to fight Cotto and beats him, and people change their tunes.

Funny how people try and point to "Unanimous Decision" wins of Broner and Mayweather against Ponce de leon and Jose Luis Castillo 1 to discredit their success or talent just because those were fights where they didn't completely blow the opponent away.

How many "Great" fighters, not saying Broner is one yet, have won every fight by a complete shutout??? Some of you guys hate a fighter so much that you'll reach for anything to make yourself feel better about the fact that they beat a fighter you favor...
