Why is Amir such a tit?

I was just watching his interview on soccer am where he discusses being with Virgil. He says the exact same things he said when he joined Freddy. He says he likes the way he trains his fighters (Ward/Pacquiao) that they are the best in the world at what they do ie defense/offense.
Why the hell does he think if you go with the guy that trains a guy that suddenly you become that guy....!?!? He thought cos he trained with Roach he would be the next Pac... guess what? It didn't work. Now he thinks he goes with Virgil and suddenly becomes a defensive and boxing wizard!?!?!? Guess what, it ain't going to work.
The guy is just a wanabe. He always wanted to be just like Pac and Floyd (he went to Floyd's gym and sparred with him and has always spoke highly of him) And now that Wards up there P4P, he wants to be him too.

Can't knock him on trying to be like Ward...

However, he obviously never will be. He's nowhere near Ward's level in any aspect and you can't fix a glass jaw. His defence is awful, he is extremely one-dimensional on offense and other than speed, he needs major work on everything.

If Virgil can improve his atrocious defensive work then it'll be worth the move, but Khan is very much delusional.

he's a poser...thought he was elite. thought he was on his way to becoming the next Pacquiao

but he's still got some athletic ability, but it seems he was always an overrated boxer. He had physical gifts- his size and length and speed but probably will never put it all together.

Much of Ward's defense centres around tying his opponent up on the inside, Khan's not really that sort of fighter. I don't think Hunter will be complimentary for his style but they can at least hunt ******* together.

because he is nothing but a legend in his own mind. he does not have and never had the elite skills it takes to be on top. his amateurish style combined with his fragile jaw makes him a B fighter at best, and the only reason I say B is because he actually does have speed. Its unfortunate he doesnt know how to use that speed to better his attributes, and even if he did, he would never be more than a B+ fighter. the only fans who think he is an elite fighter are himself, himself, and of course himself. khan just does not have what it takes. a reality check will do nothing to help this kid, hope he doesnt get seriously injured, because he still does not see that he will never be world class, no matter the trainer...

So what......... He should want and aspire to be like the best fighters in the world. Will Virgil make him a defence wiz? NO, will he improve him? Yes

The problems is guys wait too late. From kids they should be taught how to move (like Ali) how to shoulder roll (like Floyd) and how to be aggressive (like tyson/duran) and for lefties or people who agree with me that you should train both stances move (like whitaker) shoulder roll(like dawson) and how to be aggressive (pacquiao)

there's no doubt that roach took too much on board and the time he could dedicate to training his fighters wasn't evenly spread... it's not that virgil might be much better, it's just that he'll probably spend more time training khan.. i heard for khans last fight roach was hardly ever there, and you could see in some of the training footage (which was very poor sparring) that his conditioning coach (who isnt even a boxing coach) was giving khan instructions.. roach wasnt even in the same country at the time..

roach just took way too much on his plate and many of his fighters are losing so a lot of the blame does lie with him in my opinion. the guy is going to have to retire soon because he is becoming a very slack coach. khan should improve with any half-decent trainer that spends time actually training and not delegating his trainer duties to inexperienced people. and virgil is a good choice for khan to go with because he's not flooded with fighters as far as i know.

Because his pathetic family blows smoke up his arse so he can continue to fund their lavish lifestyle. To his family they dont view him as a son, they view him as a lottery ticket that they won and are trying to leech as much cash off him as they can. So they tell him sweet things in his ear, oh you wanna do drugs and drink booze? No Problem Amir, just dont tell nobody but give us some loot.

Its the problem of many athletes, majority of Athlete's are dumb and come from uneducated families and when they get rich they start listening to people who couldnt even pass High School, yet you give them millions of dollars? What you think gonna happen? Theres a reason most Athlete's have a group of leeches around them 24/7 waiting for hand outs. Just look at Manny Pacfish and Floyd, leeches and yesmen will slobber their knob at a moments notice for a chance to get some free cash.
