Blame the Wba for that joke
Maybe blame Rahman for coming shot
Don't blame povetkin, he made the job. Now, he must face Wlad at spring. Currently, it's not a bad fight.
2013 for Wlad : Povetkin, Pulev & Adamek/Solis winner. Not bad at all. I take it.Comment

Or perhaps blame the currrent heavyweight division. We are subject to see these recycled heavyweights and cruiserweights like Mormeck being fed to us. It is not the champions fault that the heavyweight are in such a sad state that finding a truly worthy challenger is such a strain. It is just the way it is.Last edited by TBear; 09-29-2012, 06:38 PM.Comment

No, that's not true. The point is that the WBA is an AMERICAN organization and hence cannot stand how all Americans have been erased from the boxing scene by non-Americans.Or perhaps blame the currrent heavyweight division. That's why they throw in the has-beens like Rahman, Briggs and Evan Fields into the ring. Because they hope for an upset. And they hope that an American will win a world title back.
It would be a similar case when a "Russian World Boxing Federation" would throw in Maskev against some current American world champ. This is pure politics.
Not heavyweight boxing is bad, but heavyweight politics is bad.Last edited by hweightblogger; 09-29-2012, 07:22 PM.Comment

Last i heard Pulev is the #1 now. Adamek Solis was supposed to be part of a 4 man IBF tournament but it didn't happen when it was originally supposed to so Pulev/Ustinov became the final eliminator.
edit - Boxrec lists it as being for the #1 spot.Comment
