Canelo beat a VERY old and faded Mosley. He may even do well against the aging Martinez but i'd give Martinez the slight nod over Canelo. Canelo Cotto would be a mismatch; Canelo is too big at 154, this katt should be 160; I'm with Canelo vs Martinez or Chavez.

Canelo would not beat down cotto stop it a smaller cotto rocked Canelo in round 1 cotto is way too good and would be like Trinidad v.s Vargas all over again

Yeah, I don't put too much stock in what the WBC "orders" when it comes to cash cows. They'll let Canelo fight Cotto in May, I have a feeling they won't have a problem with that unification.

Would favor Lara right now. Canelo hasn't shown me much vs real JMW's.

His first real test might be the best at 154. That's rough. But I suspect GB will avoid Lara at all costs.

Lara would own Canelo, I highly doubt that fight would ever happen, they will protect Canelo at all cost he is a cash cow, After seeing Chavez Jr and how much heart he showed againts Martinez I would favor jr to Knock Canelo out.

I don't really see Lara winning to be honest, Lara is an great boxer with no punching power. Also he's not very good at taking body punches, he clinches everytime someone goes to his body. Vanes could pull this off.

That Chavez episode may have struck a nerve. Protection comes with a hidden price. Not only did Jr get beat, the protectors are now sullied by his conduct, and the coverups. At this point Canelo may have to swim or sink, Sulaiman and the WBC have lost serious credibility.

You dont even believe that yourself. You're trying to dismiss Lara as an opponent cause you know Canelo beats Vanes. And Lara whoops on Canelo. Vanes will get KOed inside of 5, if not 1...
