Maybe 140 is where he ends his career.

He'll follow Gamboa up to 135 in a couple of years though.

      He's 29.

He hasn't filled out very much.

        I don't think he'll go higher than 135.

donaire is a technical fighter who relies on speed and reflexes. he doesn't spend a lot of time gaining muscle or else he would lose all that speed. at this point in his boxing career, i don't think donaire can go up 140 lbs. probably the highest he can go is 135 lbs (lightweight division).

I think he'll go to 130, possibly 135 at the most.

140lbs. And that would be pushing it.

I don't know where he will end up. That is up to him. In my opinion he should stay at 122. He is 29 years old so his growing days are over. He has already moved up in weight many times. His body looks a bit soft at 122. If he continues to move up in weight he will be fighting over his natural fighting weight and going against bigger and stronger fighters. The extra weight will not be muscle. It will only slow him down and he will not carry his great power with him to the heavier weights. He is a great fighter but he needs to stay where he is and not move up in weight.

130 and that's the max. he'll get slaughtered anywhere above. he hasn't got the muscular physique to really fill out.

i think that 135 would be comfortable for him but a lot of boxing is match ups and he could get to 140 with the right match up.
