It is funny that Dana White says that. Because the UFC is modeled after T op Rank. Dana White runs it just like Bob does Top Rank. Don't get me wrong though I hate Bob.

before all Dana would do is bash boxing and how it was on it's way out.. now that his brand has started to decline in popularity he wants to say that he has nothing but praise for the sport? you already alienated the boxing public for the most part, Dana.. you're not gonna get it back. you had that chance.
I remember UFC putting cards on the same night as boxing events, now that the tables are turned.. it's somehow different?

I remember Dana white, Joe Rogan and many delusional die hard mma fans would bash boxing to the fullest and say boxing is dying and after oscar de la hoya retires, there will be no more. Boy were they wrong. I always told my mma junkie friends that boxing will alway be on top because there will always be 1-2 ppv mega stars to carry the sport. Right now after pac n mayweather, it looks like it could be canelo n broner who could become massive ppv draws. And theres also alot of talented fighters in this new generation that are coming up. Right now Boxing has built some positive momentum. Fights have been doing good ratings, displaying good shows, and have upcoming good scheduled fights coming upLast edited by TheGoldenChamp; 09-28-2012, 10:56 PM.

I agree with everything Dana White said. It was nice to hear him actually compliment the sport legitimately, instead of his previous runs of "I'm a big boxing fan, but...." where he'd go on to attempt to make the sport sound obsolete or redundant.
Kudos to him for giving credit where it's due, and calling Bob Arum out for being the worthless piece of **** that he is.
