No way Floyd fights Sergio before Pacquiao. Bigger risk, less reward. Floyd ain't that ******.

you know why Mayweather fought Baldomir instead of Margarito?

because the Baldomir fight sold 325k which was around 16 million and Mayweather got most of that, so the 6 million for Margarito was nothing.

Mayweather is a great business man and that's great but as a all time great he isn't even close because he never took the difficult fights, he cherry picked guys who were draws but easy to beat and that's exactly why he'll never fight Martinez

Non sequitur, and you're calling me a moron. No offense taken, I don't expect better from your ilk

Yeah, Floyd is immune to lying, remember that $20m he earned for the Big Show?

all I'm saying is why is he wanting a catchweight for Martinez but never asked De la Hoya for one, who fought at middleweight a few times. he didn't ask Cotto for a catchweight either but Martinez needs to be handicaped.

he can say he can beat Martinez but why does he prove it. I'm sure Martinez think he has the style to beat Mayweather too.

Amir Khan says he has the style to beat Mayweather do you believe him?
I doubt it but he did say it.

nobody will know until they get into the ring but Mayweather has a history of ducking difficult fighters

            Kosta Tzyu
            Paul Williams
            prime Miguel Cotto at 140
Arum offered him 6 million to fight Margarito in 2006, he fought Baldomir instead, come man.
He called out Tsyzu numerous times. But that fight was impossible to make because Mayweather had an HBO contract and Tsyzu had one with Showtime.

When Mayweather his the division, Williams lost to Quintana.

Cotto primed at 140? You're an idoit. But either way its well documented that Mayweather wanted Cotto at 140 but Arum said Cotto was "too green."

As for Margarito, he was rebuilding from a loss to Daniel Santos when Mayweather hit the division. And later again lost to Mosley when a fight with he and Mayweather made sense.

As for Baldomir, who was the universally recognized welterweight champ and coming off wins over Judah and Gatti. I know that in Pacland, fighting guys coming off loses if what defines greatness. But here on planet Earth, we like our top fighters to fight guys in the winners bracket.

Because once upon a time, Sergio Martinez was going around saying he would come down to 150 lbs to fight either Pacquaio or Mayweather. Floyd was asked again on another occasion about fighting Martinez at 154 lbs, and he said it's possible. In that post fight interview with Ortiz, the interviewer asked if he's too big, he actually said NO.

But in my opinion, I think Martinez IS a bit too big. But that's just me. Floyd said it's not that he's too big though.

                    LETS GET IT POPPIN!!!

this is what I wanna see, F.Ck a manny pacquiao, that fool can't even deal with a old bloated Marquez. the Pacquiao fight would be for the money, but if Floyd beats Sergio he gets way more props and Hall of Fame stripes.
