Comments Thread For: Spadafora’s Ex-Manager Sues, Alleges Breach of Contract

Undefeated former lightweight titleholder Paul Spadafora has been sued by his former manager, who is accusing the fighter of breaching of contract, according to a report in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Al McCauley filed the lawsuit on Monday, claiming that Spadafora’s Aug. 18 bout against Humberto Toledo was fought without his permission and that McCauley didn’t receive his cut of Spadafora’s paycheck, the article said.

          Get em Roy!

But seriously, Al McCauley has done nothing but jack Spaddy's career up for a while. I remember before the Ortiz fight Paul started coming around the gym training, McCauley told him he got the Floyd fight but he wasn't allowed to talk to the press about it.

How do you go from World Class fighter, title belt, 8 defenses, undefeated to fighting no hopers. Great managing thats how...

Spadafora's career has been equally hurt by his actions and choices outside of the ring. Dude had a lot of potential. Maybe he can make one last big statement before he gets any older and retires.

              Al McCauley deserves nothing.
