Pac's lighting speed will be to much for Cotto to handle at 154 plus!! The catchweight would have benefited Cotto more since it would allow Cotto regain some speed then at 154. Pac turned it down at 154 because it would have been unfavorable weight for Cotto which would reflect back at Manny as a cherry pick. The champ in Pac did the right thing!!!!Respect!!!!

Cotto will be much slower at 154 then at 150!!! Manny against Cotto at 150 will fair better for Cotto since Cotto will be faster. Manny and Cotto at 154 would be considered a cherry pic for Manny since Cotto would be slowed down because of heavier weight. Manny has to much honor in cherry picking Cotto at 154.

Cotto wants Martinez at a catchweight but won't meet Manny at one... I hate that **** but I understand it because everyone wants their own advantage, the fight is also won in negotiations sadly. But... it does sound like this is a tune up for a Martinez match up. It'll probably be Cotto/Martinez with Canelo fighting Mares.
