Solis is an unprofessional waste of ring space. There couldn't be a worse choice for a network slot. If he shows up like normal, the sport stands a good chance of looking bad.
Fail.
I understand what you mean. But if Solis is willing take two fights within such a short span of each other and comes out on top will you change your tune Cliff?
man, hopefully odlanier gets into decent shape for both fights.we'll see what happens in october. hopefully this motivates him even more, but doesn't make him underestimate what's still in front of him.
The Adamek fight would come on the heels of the Larsen bout. There's only about a two month gap, so Odlanier won't have much time to rest and eat his face off. My gut (sorry) tells me Solis will come into the fight with the Norwegian in better shape than his last, and in still better shape for Tomasz.
By the way, great news that this fight be broadcast in such fashion.
How can anyone dislike Adamek? He fights everyone!
Unfortunately he has almost no chance in this fight. Granted Solis appears in shape, and that is a big question mark. This fight won't go like his fight with VK but he will probably lose. Solis is very skilled.
People forget Solis KOed David Haye in the amateurs LOL.

Is he going to show up weighing in the 260s+. If so, probably not though if he has a string of amazing results, there would be no reason to ignore them. Nothing about him impresses me and he gets a lot of mileage out of a lousy win over the mediocre Ray Austin. He had the tools forty pounds ago. That was a long time past.
Even if think the worst of Solis are nervous about how he shows up...he is stationary enough with his footwork to allow Adamek to stay close and be active as well, more than he was able to be against Chambers. hopefully should be good action for TV even if Solis pulls a Solis. Even if he's fat , he'll just be a fat guy with skills so hell still be there landing

Understood, I wasnt too far from the action in American Airlines that night. When Solis put Austin down with what seemed to be a jab I admit I was on my feet but the ending of the fight was a bit bizzare for my liking.
Forty pounds ago Solis was an amatuer, he debuted at 250+. It is a bit disappointing he didn't maintain the level of profesionalism most have been expecting of him. Either way I'll be rooting for La Sombra in his next two...
Adamek's always in shape...if Solis is vs Larsen, doesn't get hurt/cut...what's important is what he does on his short break b4 Adamek...he has a chance but I take Adamek...nice to see the Sands w/the show in this formerly depressed town but geat school of Lehigh, unfortunately probably same old officials & either Rosado or Smoger as refs...
