Manny went up and fought Margarito at 154, didn't even weigh that much on fight night, and Margarito outweighed Pacquiao by more than 25 lbs. Manny said he didn't like how his body felt at that weight, felt slower, and felt guys at 154 were naturally too big and strong for him at that weight. Although he destroyed Margarito, he said he'd never fight that heavy again, and that's perfectly fine. Marcos Maidana should be doing the dame thing at 147, opting to stay at 140. So if Cotto feels drained, weaker, and a struggle to go the other way, that's fine too. Don't make a big deal of either fighter in where they want to fight.

Yes, Manny demanded a catch weight but just one fight prior when he fought Clottey he weighed in at 146. 1lb really determined the outcome of the fight? Cotto wasn't making any excuses before, during and directly after the fight then a few years later its the weight? Please... Sounds like bitterness to me.

The same guy is complaining about weight when he tried to drain Margarito down to 150 but Tony wouldnt budge so he made it at 153. I dont agree with the whole catch weights but I don't think a guy like Miguel should be using that excuse when he has asked for them in the past. You can't fight Manny at '50 but you can for Margarito? Hypocritical, no?

Actually Margarito didn't caught using illegal hand wraps against Cotto. He was caught ATTEMPTING to use them against Mosley. We live in America and and we are innocent until proven guilty. Margarito using them against Cotto is pure speculation.

He actually asked for the Margarito fight to be at 150. Tony told him to *** off like a real man. Which is what Miguel could've done to Pacquaio the first time instead of b1tching about it afterwards.
