WBA super bantamweight champion Jackie Nava (28-4-3, 12KOs) has announced that she is pregnant and will be away from the ring until late 2013. Nava, one of the most popular fighters in Mexico, joins her rival, WBC super flyweight champion Ana Maria Torres, on the motherhood bench. Back in May, Torres revealed she was pregnant and canceled a planned June fight with WBC super bantamweight champ Alicia Ashley. Torres is not sure about the date of her planned return. That leaves Mexican fans without the two most popular female fighters.
