    Tomasz Adamek vs. Odlanier Solis

According to The Ring website, this fight is in the works for Dec 22.

Heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek is likely to fight Odlanier Solis in the Dec. 22 main event of NBC Sports Network's Fight Night, should Solis win his Oct. 12 tune-up against Leif Larsen and come through with not cuts or injuries, sources tell The Ring.

The 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist from Cuba fought WBC titleholder Vitali Klitschko last March but was stopped in the first round after suffering tears to his ACL and external meniscus, as well as cartilage damaged to his right knee. Solis (18-1, 12 knockouts) has fought just once since then after rehab and surgery, a 12-round unanimous decision over Konstantin Airich in May of 2012.

Adamek (47-2, 29 KOs) is coming off a fifth round stoppage of Travis Walker earlier this month.

Kind of an odd fight isn't it? Hard to say who will win and why. Solis' style seems like a nightmare for Adamek after Chambers, but then again Solis hasn't done **** since losing to Vitali. If he shows up at 270 again, maybe Adamek can pull it out?

I don't love this fight, but I am intrigued as to how it will play out.

I will hold my vote for when or if Solis gets past that football player dude in Spain. Forgot his name...

You know what's great about Adamek? He fights a lot, and always faces decent fighters. His name is never out of the discussion because he always has a fight coming up. His resume is pretty ****ing awesome.

        Wins over
        Paul Briggs x2
        O'Neil Bell
        Steve Cunningham
        Johnathan Banks
        Andrew Golota
        Jason Estrada
        Chris Arreola
        Eddie Chambers
        Travis Walker

Not too shabby. I was saying he should move back down to 199lbs after the Vitali fight, but ****. If Vitali retires and it's likely someone like Arreola or Stiverne gets the belt, he may as well stay.

Solis wins every round. People say he was fat after the fight.

SPONGE BOB SOLIS is a FAT BUM living off of Olympic glory about 100 pounds ago.

This one will be far easier for Adamek than Travis Walker was. Solis is DONE, not that he ever was anything as a pro anyway. Solis's delusional fanbase is rivalled only by James Toney's, totally in denial.

Solis will be exhausted by round two as he comes in at about 270 pounds, and Adamek will overwhelm him and destroy him by the end of round seven.

No, Sponge Bob Solis is a huge WAIST of talent! Adamek is plenty big enough to handle 6'1" and 280 pound Sponge Bob....
