Nothing in those quotes suggest that Golovkin isn't included in his list of option.

Exactly. He mentioned Golovkin by name when asked about opponents.

Damn man, I don't think Geale is that great, but that's a hell of a step up. Tapia hasn't fought a top 20 guy, and mostly fights at 154. I'd watch it though.

I would love to see Golovkin vs Geale. The fact is, however, there most likely isn't enough money on the table for it to happen! IMO, fighting Golovkin is like fighting Mike Tyson (when he was in his prime); but not getting Mike-Tyson-Money!!! He's such a huge risk with such little reward!! And that's really what it comes down to.

Geale is not going to have two belts very soon. He will drop one belt in order to avoid GGG. Can't blame him though... This way he keeps one belt and his health. In other way he loses both titles and health. So they will choose the only option - avoid GGG at the cost of one belt but hang to another belt and his career.

"...if that's who my management decide to put in front of me then that's who I will fight," I can never get used to boxers saying that line.

Anyway, I think he should fight Soliman first, to make the most of his situation. Then, fight either Macklin/Murray/Golovkin.

Fights I wanna see at MW:

                -Chavez/Golovkin
                -Pirog/winner of Quillin/N'Jikam
                -Barker/Lee
                -Murray/Proksa
                -Geale/Macklin

Well I think Geale v Sturm 2 makes a alot of sense, both financially and since the first fight was close and rather entertaining. I've been impressed with Geale and a repeat win over Sturm solidifies his standing even further. Then he could take on Macklin (Mack wins it) but what ever the result, it'd be a great fight. I just really want to see Mack get his dues at 160, a title would do it. The same goes for Murray, how unlucky was he against Sturm???
