Trainer Angel Garcia is still wondering why so many boxing experts believed Amir Khan was a great fighter. Garcia's son, Danny Garcia (24-0, 15KOs), stopped Khan in four rounds on July 14th in Las Vegas. Khan was dropped in the third and twice in the fourth before the contest was stopped.

Going into the fight, Garcia was a huge underdog, and many were expecting a knockout victory for Khan (26-3, 18KOs). I somewhat agree with Angel but man he really is a crackhead lol. I think Danny is one tough kid and he is gritty and has will and guts. He is a solid fighter. True, Khan is obviously chinny but I am still not sold on Garcia. Granted Danny took Khan out but Khan was cleaning the floor with ass and boxing his ears off before that happened. I have to see more of Garcia to really be convinced, and beating Morales won't convince me of crap.

Angel is right. It is EXTREMELY hard to be a great fighter if you have no punch resistance. No matter how athletic you are , or how good a defense you have, you will get hit. Great fighters must face very good fighters. And very good fighters will ultimately put hands on you.

Why take away from ya son's victory by saying Khan was overrated??

I like the Garcia's,Danny is a solid fighter..Khan is not overrated,only his fans(and HBO crew)think overly highly of him..Khan is a good fighter with room for improvement..

Pretty much, it's just dumb to give detractor ammunition because they can usually come up with stuff on their own.

I don't think Khan has admitted to himself that he was a weak chin.

You could see him in sparring, showing off, dropping his hands and inviting shots to the head to prove how tough he is.

Same thing happened in the Peterson fight against the ropes where is eating shots and show boating.
