Gamboa is a good fighter but wouldn't be willing to fight in the UK.

    The rest, who, who, who?

None of them are on the level of Burns' last victim my home boy Mitchell. I'd like to see gamboa fight Burns but his career is in limbo at the moment.

I'm not so sure about that.

Yuri doesn't have a big fan base in the US anyway (which is a shame), he's fought in Germany and I don't think coming here would bother him. It would be good money, he could get another title and also increase his fan base.

Would Ricky fight Gamboa though? Gamboa is a sensational fighter....I don't think he would.

Gamboa is probably fighting Anthony Peterson as a tune up first fight back at LW. Than, I'd imagine he'll look for the Broner/DeMarco winner or Vazquez.

Burns can stay fighting Rees, Harrison, or others over in the UK. But if he wants to unify or go for the RING title, which would mean fighting Broner/DeMarco, Abril/Bogere, Vazquez, he's going to have to come to the US to do it. Right or wrong, that's just the way it is.

I still say Burns should have come over to fight Broner last fall. If he wants to make it on to the world stage and get wins over big fighters around his weight, he's going to have to come to the US.

I love the British way of thinking! When a British fighter has a decent win (Burns over Mitchell), all of a sudden he's the best fighter in that weight class and anyone who won't fight him in his back yard is a coward. Here's the real facts, Burns isn't coming to the US to lose to Broner for chump change when he can fight lesser fighters for way more $$$ at home. While Broner isn't a huge draw in the US, what he does have is a can't miss prospect tag and an undefeated record. He will not risk either going to the UK for a Burns fight that brings him no prestige and little money

But why would Burns go to the US?
Broner isn't some massive ppv draw like Canelo. Where do the Ring rank him at the weight? He calls no shots at all, he's a nobody, regardless of whether he is a prospect or not. Burns is the champion, has just defended his title against the no.5 ranked guy in the world, he has nothing to prove. If December is a keep busy fight, then why should he play to Broner's schedule?
If Broner is as good as he thinks he is, he should travel wherever and look to rip the title from whoever's hands it is in.

I can't imagine Adrian Broner ever being brave enough to fight Burns in Scotland, even though it would draw a huge crowd there (while "The Problem" can't draw flies in the USA).
I can see Broner going to Scotland to promote the fight, wearing a soccer jersey of the team that Burns hates and throwing middle fingers to the crowd.

you sure Broner wouldnt come to the UK? I think he'd get pretty well paid for it too.

Burns won't go to the USA until the purse is bigger enough to warrant it. I assume he earns a decent amount over here and any offers that have come from America, have probably been too low.

Opponent wise for December, Harrison is a good call. He's not going to return to his former glory and a fight in Scotland would sell very well. I'd wait a few months though, he needs to build Harrison's name back up.

Kim/Acosta/Rahimov would be decent fights and then on to the big boys next year.

I've no interest in seeing him fight Harrison, it would be incredibly one sided.
