            Damm Corrie was great to watch, he was somewhat of a natural for his size...pretty fast and fluid hands, power in both, and iron chin. I loved when Merchant described him as a "gentleman boxer" who would dust himself off, train a little, and take a fight every once in a while. got by on natural ability as far as what I saw of his fights. He took the top 3 guys he fought to the limit or more. Hate seeing fighters go out in crazy ways like that. rip

                Corrie got shot in the stomach at a restaurant by armed robbers and was rushed to the hospital and passed away.

                If there were 5 more of him, the heavyweight division would be hell on wheels.
