Great show from Burns, he was spot on all fight.

Stopping it with 1 second left in the round seemed a bit strange, but Kev didn't do a whole lot over the fight.

Mitchell was a big let down. Definitely off that bandwagon... jesus.

Mitchell seems to get all touchy-feely after he gets TKOd... Reminded me of the post-Katsidis fight how he hugged and kissed everyone lol.

Burns seemed to be much stronger than Mitchell. I always though Burns was decent when I saw him against Katsidis.

Damn, Burns looked really good tonight. Certainly didn't expect him to knock Mitchell out early even though Mitchell has shown in the past his chin is vulnerable.

          Really impressed with Burns though.

Now make Burns vs Gamboa on the Bradely vs Peterson or Judah undercard Dec 15

It's not the Refs job to care how many seconds are left in the round. He makes a decision based on the fighter in that instance.

Kevin should have taken more time getting up & held on.

But it was only going to delay the inevitable. Burns too big & strong.

Burns really pitches those overhand rights despite that superb performance he's a someone to reckon with at LW

I seriously doubt Burns will travel.

Mitchell was ******. He was trying to out jab a guy who's gameplan is to box at range and land that straight right hand over the top using distance and reach. He might have stood a better chance if he went to war from the outset, but he elected to fight at range and got promptly put away.

Credit to Burn's though. Mitchell isn't a slouch, he just doesn't have the intelligence needed to cut it as a world champ. On the other hand Burn's knows what he is good at and does it with style. Impressive from Burns, severely disappointed in Mitchell. He isn't the sum of his parts.
