Many outlets have been reporting the PPV buys for Pac/Bradley were around 750,000. Arum came out and said he hopes when all is said and done the numbers should be close to 1 million. Know Arum's penchant for exagerrating, it looks like the numebrs will end up being around 800,000. (Many outlets are splitting the differnce and calling it around 900,000.)

Arum came out this week and said that Chavez-martinez was "already over 600K".

Then HBO releases 475K.

Ignore Arum numbers. Always.

Because the number he puts out people will accept if there is nothing more reliable and over time it just becomes accepted so even if the real number comes out lower that original high number will have been in peoples minds for so long it creates real doubt about the truer lower number.

Plus he will have trumpeted the high number and when the real number comes out it will be more like a foot note that only the real keen observers will pick up on.
