Ortiz is at welter and khan has been talking about coming up to welter for a while now. Ortiz is a big dude though I agree. I think it'd be a very exciting fight! One fighter with questionable heart and one fighter with a questionable chin and also throw in roach going against one of his former fighters and you got another story line. And both are goldenboy so its definitely possible.

I hate this lack of heart sht,a man who steps in that ring and puts his body and mind on the line has a lot of heart imo, going out on your shield is a ****** thing to do yea i said it.

The lack of heart talk needs to stop! Ortiz is a warrior. Plain & simple... Now as far a new trainer I think roach is a TERRIBLE choice. What he needs us a defensive master. Like Floyd senior. Roach is just gonna make him brawl & there will be no change in his style IMO.

I thought the whole thing with Ortiz is he wanted to be the center of attention with whichever trainer he was with. Roach has a lot of fighters, if this happens I don't think it'll last long.

Not sure I like him going with Roach. There's so much wrong with that. Like someone mentioned Roach has his condition and probably not too long left in boxing. Ortiz needs one who can get that head straight. Also, in between rounds Roach can barely get the instructions out and that's the last thing Ortiz needs.

Mayweather Sr. is going to be Ortiz's new trainer.

I don't think Roach would be a bad idea. Ortiz seems to want a father figure as well an elite trainer, Roach could be that guy. Roach will push him though and expect the best also.
