Both are great trainers.
IMO, Roach loses some points because of his less than impressive focus on defense. That means, if you don't have a good chin, he's not the trainer for you. Ask Linares and Khan about this.

Freddy Roach has gotten way too much exposure ever since he started training Manny. He is over rated as a trainer in my opinion. He hasn't produced anyone else other than Manny. He could not make Khan into a phenom and he obviously cant do that with Jr. the stoner. Other than Manny, who has he produced? The wild card gym itself is over rated because Manny trains there. Look at statistics of other trainers like; Stewart, Beristien, etc....

Both trainers are very good in the gym but in the corners their not that good at how to give advices or breaking down their fighters opponents! It doesn't really matter with these two fighters their going to do what they want to do anyways! Ya think they know each other???? I beleive this fight will decide for all boxing fans if Manny has that one big effort for Mayweather or if he maybe to far over the hill! Marquez is a very good fighter and I think that guy could fight up till he's 50!!! Ray.
