EBU junior light champ Devis Boschiero (31-1, 15KOs) will make a voluntary defense in Italy on October 27 (exact venue to be announced) on a OPI 2000 promotion. Boschiero will take on compatriot Antonio De Vitis (25-2-1, 14KOs). Mandatory challenger for Boschiero is Vitaly Tajbert, who is scheduled to fight on the Universum show in Hamburg on October 12. Tajbert returns after a layoff due to a hand injury.
