Dawson is on the skinny side but he has pretty good traps. If a guy has a long skinny neck I at least want to see them with solid traps because that does add some shock absorption to the neck.

It is not even just the knock out thing, it is easier to snap someone head if their neck is long and skinny so even if they can fine it just looks worse than a guy with a no neck.

It is kind of weird but the neck is the first thing I look at in a fighter because it is a pretty telling sign of punch resistance.
