Rau'Shee Warren is the best amateur the US has produced in recent years...
Came up short in this Olympics, but has beaten many top fighters, won a number of major tournaments, has very fast hands, good movement, & some pretty serious pop in his punches.

As for age, while it will be tough for a long career in the lower weights, Guillermo Rigondeaux started older, & a number of the top Cuban's making a name for themselves started around the same age.

PS. Errol Spence looks to be the pick of the bunch in potential in the pro ranks, as he already has pretty much a professional style.

Isnt Breazeale that football player? He's already turning pro? I thought hes only been boxing for 4 years. Truthfully I wasnt very impressed by none of the guys in the US team so not really looking forward to seeing any of them in the pros.

Funny that you say hes one of the best amateurs but he's gone to the olympics 3 times now or so and hasnt won one round? Then people wonder whats wrong with the US team.
