Floyd on average holds his opponents to 17% connect rate regardless of their usual punch output. He's hard to hit man, face it.....the volume of punches isn't the answer, it's where and when those punches are thrown that's gonna make the difference. It takes Boxing IQ if you're gonna have a chance to win against Floyd. If for all these years you Pacquiao fans have been believing he'd when the fight because he throws a lot of punches, then you all are a dumber cult than I thought.

      Hopefully this fight happens though.
I think his best chance is to tee off on Floyd when Floyd lays on the ropes for an extended period of time. Manny has no chance if Floyd can keep the fight on the outside and side step in and out.

Do you really think the Hatton that fought Floyd is the same version that fought Manny , I guess Floyds versions of 160 Oscar and Cotto were the same as the ****** out versions Manny drained !

Manny and Floyd will fight , Arum wanted him last and thats whats going down , its always the same thing Manny is signed to fight somebody else and now all the BS about Floyd comes out of his mouth , when Floyd is open to fight and its put to Manny its up to his promoter is all he says ,,, what a steaming pile of horse sheeeeeeet !!

I have tried to figure out the best way to beat Floyd because I have wondered who would have the best chance. I have tried to come up with a strategy or scenario where I could see him losing a fight. I came up with what I believe is the only way to beat this guy. You have to knock him out. And that is tall order because he rarely gets hit with more than 1 clean punch at a time. From what I've seen recently, I don't think PAC can do it.

I think Floyd is brilliant when it comes to fight off the ropes against orthodox boxers. We all know he doesn't fight southpaw and orthodox boxers the same way. He can apply the rope-a-dope tactic against both styles, but i think he need to stick to doing it against orthodox boxers only. You don't want to be a sitting duck on the ropes against someone with the hand speed and awkward style as Manny Pacquiao.

Floyd looked like sluggish, and slower against Ortiz, and Cotto(though his fan boys will say it was by design). His body does not move as fluently (torso mainly), and his feet are like stones now. Dont get confused with his shoulder movement (which is actually better on the ropes than anything else he does defensively in the center) that he has "GREAT FOOTWORK". He does not...hes very planted, and like Roy Jones, relies on physical reflexes when he moves or adjusts his core and shoulders. Whatever, just my 2 cents.

(Floyd cheerleaders get mad with reality in...5...4...3...2...1)
I disagree about the bold part, but i agree with the rest of your post.

You're talking about his ex-opponents that could barely throw a 100 punch LMAO

                  Additional to the ESPN debate...

"What is stopping (a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight)? No guts, no glory, for your man Floyd. Isn't that right, Floyd?" said Bayless, staring at the camera, on the Friday morning episode. Smith shared on Friday that Pacman told him that when Manny and Floyd talked on the phone back in January, Manny said, "Money" asked him what if he lost, and insinuated that would be horrid, because boxing is all he has, while Manny has a political career to fall back on. Smith then said he wouldn't counter anyone who said that Mayweather is scared to fight Pacquiao, a change in stance for him, because Pacman had nudged him closer to being convinced that Floyd fears a loss to Pacquiao. Smith was moved by the fact that Pacquiao laughed "hysterically" at the thought of Mayweather beating him, during an apperance on his radio show. "I have never seen anybody call out Mayweather this way," Smith said. "I have to believe Floyd is ducking him," Smith decided.
