I like them both as fighters, but the thing is it is easy to make a case for building up Wilder very slowly because he needed it.He beat Grady Brewer. It is strange how long a lot of these prospects are taking to take the next step. Wilder is also just fighting bum after bum, Benavidez has now been pro almost 3 years without anything to write home about.
It's still a lot better then Gesta who has been pro for 9 years or Vanes who's been pro 7 years and is now barely taking the step up.
Andrade on the other hand is a very polished product, but he has fought better guys than Wilder but one would figure he would get moved a bit quicker than he has to date (although he did fight Brewer pretty early on). I do think he is going to do big things though and Andrade is still very young.
I do think a lot of prospects get moved to quickly though, so I have no real issue with these young guys taking their time because guys very rarely improve once they reach the big stage.Last edited by The Gambler1981; 09-21-2012, 06:16 PM.Comment

Andrade is in a division that's dominated by the "names", and everyone is chasing the same guys (Cotto/Canelo/Mayweather). He has almost no chance of fighting them, and the contenders are busy fighting each other. There's very little room for Andrade to build himself by fighting relevant opposition. I think Dzinziruk is a very good opportunity for him. I think he's gonna have to get his the hard way.I like them both as fighters, but the thing is it is easy to make a case for building up Wilder very slowly because he needed it.

The funny thing is what I hear about Andrade is what I heard about Andre Ward, why didn't he step up sooner, this guy sucks he is boring, when he steps up he will be nothing~
Now Andrade can only wish it works out that good for him but kid has real talent it is plain to the eye and he is a huge 154 pounder even big for 160.Comment

Nobody in their right mind should want to face Andrade~ unless forced.Andrade is in a division that's dominated by the "names", and everyone is chasing the same guys (Cotto/Canelo/Mayweather). Tall rangy southpaw who has an excellent jab, nobody in the history of the sport wants to face such a guy unless forced. Especially when he brings nothing to the table, although I think he sells pretty well at Fox Woods or one of those India Casino's but that isn't much.
Dzinziruk is a solid step up for him though it would be a very solid test for him to prove himself.Comment
