Pirog's KO of Jacobs seems so long ago. What else has he done? He doesn't hang with Maravilla. Qullin-N'Jikam winner, Golovkin, and Geale would all work though.

- tried to fight Sergio who fought irrelevant and even more unknown Dzinziruk and Barker instead...duck

- tried to fight Barker who got injured

- tried to fight N'jikam who backed out and was gifted a interm belt by the WBO even though the Champion was trying to fight him

- tried to unify with Geale but WBO threatened to strip him

- tried to unify with Golovkin but WBO threatened to strip him, signed anyways, ruptured a vertebral disc

- was stripped

Huh? Didn't Pirog piss his pants and an injury magically appeared when he was supposed to fight Golovkin then Proksa had to step in? Didn't Pirog "injure" himself not too long ago before the fight vs Ishida too when he had to fight I forgot who now?

Pirog was in talks to fight N'jikam, got a minor injury to his shoulder and just wanted the proposed date pushed back three weeks. N'jikam the challenger who was trying to demand the location of the fight said he couldn't wait an additional 3 weeks because he had an arena and date booked for a fight in Equatorial Guinea. He signed to fight Bursak instead and fought him in France 3 days after Pirog fought N'jikam's replacement Ishida. Blatant duck by N'jikam that got him a WBO interm belt.

N'jikam is the same coward who dropped his WBA Interm belt instead of fight Golovkin.

If HBO doesn't even want to accept Martinez-Pirog then you're just gonna have to deal with it. Pirog turned down Lara, who was offering to go to Russia and to fight at 160. But guess what Pirog said, he'll only fight Lara if HBO or Showtime accepts the fight. But for Martinez, he wanted him to come to Russia, and was saying forget HBO and Showtime, we'll just do it on a Russian channel. But he didn't give the same offer for Lara.

1) Pirog wanted to fight Sergio on HBO but Sergio there wasn't enough money. That's when Pirog said he could guarentee 3 Million to fight in Russia which is more money than Martinez has ever made.

2) Lara isn't even in the same weightclass and why would Pirog give Lara 3 Million dollars when he's a beltless jmw? Lara also claimed Dzinziruk ducked him even though Sergei was in the middle of a training camp for a fight against Konecny. Lara says alot of stuff regardless of truth. lol

Pirog is a good boxer, but he has wasted his career. After fighting Jacobs he decided to hide in Russia never to be seen again.
