Which is why Hoya kept saying Alvarez is not ready for Floyd. Which results to people saying Alvarez is too green. However Alvarez thinks he IS ready while Floyd doesn't even mention fighting him. Which results to people saying Floyd is scared of him.

Either way, I think Hoya is trying to protect him as he is only 22 years old. Fighting Martinez is not a good idea, let alone Mayweather.

Alvarez vs Cotto/Lara/Kirkland is a great starting point before talking about either Martinez or Mayweather. I don't think Hoya will put Alvarez in over his head anytime soon as he is an investment for the future for when the likes of Mayweather, Martinez and Pac all retire.

I like Bernard, at times, but the thing I don't like about him is the fact that he comes off like he is racist A LOT. By many things he has said in the past I truly can't help but think he is, and that's a shame.

In a perfect world let Martinez/Mayweather fight and Cotto/Canelo fight. Then winners meet end of next year and even let the losers fight. With promoters not in the way they should make it happen.

well the thing about it is the staples were a needed to close a cut caused by the accidental headbutt.

also, how can he win "easily" but it didn't come easy? The scoring is meant to show who won the fight and in this case is completely accurate. The reality is that 3 of his 4 injuries (the broken hand, knee, and the cut on side of the head) weren't results of him being hit or being beaten up on. The scoring shows he won 11 of 12 rounds on 2 cards and 10 of 12 on the other card. In "]reality[/COLOR] that is exactly what happened, it might not show that he received injuries during the fight but the reality of what happened in terms of how the fight went is EXACTLY the same as what the scoring depicts.

the reality is that you over use the word reality....lol
