    Passionate, but he had a quiet assuredness about him that rubbed off on his fighters. Sad day for boxing as the man was a true legend of the sport.

                    This all seems so surreal. I cant really grasp this. RIP Emmanuel! Hell of a trainer, hell of a commentator. You will be missed!

                                I had my fighters box against Kronk in the amatuers and pros and never fought a Kronk kid or man who didn't come to the ring in shape and lack in effort! Manny did great work with kids and cared for his fighters. If he didn't care they couldn't reach the heights they reached! R.I.P Champ! Ray.

                                    He was one of the best technical trainers of all time, all his fighters were fundamentally sound with the exception of Hamed but he only trained him for a short time. He brought Hearns from getting his nose broken in his first sparring session to becoming one of the greatest fighters ever. Taught him how to properly throw the right hand which unleashed the lethal power.

                                    He was also IMO the most insightful boxing analyst on TV and was a joy to listen to when he got excited :
