I missed this news yesterday. I had hoped that Gamboa was somehow going to fight in November, but this all makes sense. After the demise of TMT, everything concerning its signed fighters is in question. Even if Yuri had fought as scheduled, it would've been too long between fights. Now, it'll be even worse. But a commodity like Gamboa would be attractive to anyone, including Golden Boy. Yuri needs to do what he's gotta do to save his career. He needs to move on. What can Floyd promise him now?
