People have been saying that for over a decade. There will always be the next guy. Soon it will be Genady, Broner, Matthyse, Bradley, Canelo, etc

Im not sure many people think he loses to Martinez at 154. At 160 is another story but at JMW thats not a fight where has a good chance to lose because of the question marks about Martinez hitting that weight.

These guys will not fight anyone who stands a chance. After the Cotto fight Team Mayweather is thinking retirement! They want no part of Martinez. I hope that Mayweather either fights Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez, or even Sergio Martinez!

If he fights again it should only be against one of the 3 guys mentioned.

Or even Timothy Bradley or Andre Berto. If he is not fighting any of those guys mentioned then he should retire. I would not mind if he fought Cotto in a rematch.

But God Please do not let him fight Ricky Hatton!!

The Mayweather's always make excuses on Floyd should not fight certain people. And it the very same fighters who pose a threat. Mayweather is the best thus far. But he doesn't take risk! I respect him for fighting Miguel Cotto and putting on a hell of a show & fight. We need a few more fights like that from him. So he can cement his legacy.

      Pacquiao
      Canelo
      Martinez
      Bradley
      Berto
      Cotto rematch

So now Floyd can make 140 as well? Martinez has gradually garnered the attention that he desired, he even has Mayweather Sr. talking about how it shouldn't happen. "I'm not saying he can't whup him,....BUT"

Ortiz weighed 164 on fight night, and Floyd did fine. Canelo will also weigh 164-170 on fight night, and so would Martinez.

Yes that is what the people want, too bad Floyd is a wimp and does not like a challenge.

I'm only interested in this fight if its at 154. And I bet Martinez is willing to cut an arm off to make weight. Too bad Floyd is too busy fighting women.

Even all the Mayweather's agree that Floyd should stay far, far away. How pathetic.
