The Mitchell KO was a premature joke to insured PBGirl's future viability, but yeah, he really teed off on Gatti. He generally doesn't load up because of fragile hands and the risk of the incoming, preferring a defensive stance.

He always had power, but it was overshadowed by his defense and speed. He doesn't have 1 punch K.O. power per say (that bodyshot was perfect, more accuracy than power) but he does hit hard and fast making it seem like theres more behind them than is the case. He couldn't miss Gatti and Gatti couldn't hit him, was like hitting a punching bag that occasionally moved left or right In 147 your going to see him (if he steps up competition) go back to being more defensive because he doesn't compare in power at this division.

I think its all his confidence and the fact that he hasnt been hit with a clean shot in a pretty long time. i also seen that he dosent have 1 punch k.o but he's such a good boxer that he gets his opponents discouraged then he just disects them little by litle.

Dude I was at mayweather mitchel and sharm was not all their when he got up could he have continued ya maybe but more like continued to take a beating although mitchell was doing alright for himself better than some so props to him

people think that just because a fighter is defensive and doesn't KO you with one punch early...that he cannot hurt you...if that were the case, the guys would have walked all over Sweet Pea, Byrd, and the like...

any human being with two hands and fists CAN hurt you...Mayweather doesn't put everything behind every punch because he like Winky is more concerned with getting the punch off quick rather than loading it up...but sometimes he does load up a punch or two...

so yes he can hurt you with power shots, but it just isn't his game to make 95% of his punches power shots...
