Hatton invited Barrera to the Maussa fight, Barrera invited Hatton to the Juarez fight and so on. They are kind of like the friends you send a christmas card to but never actually hang around with. LOL

Anyone know the story behind it?

I know the answer. I read Hatton's autobiography : once an older woman approached Hatton at a boxing event and told him her son was a big big fan of Hatton. Later another person told Hatton that the woman who talked to him was Marco Antonio Barrera's mother.
