That's like bragging about being twice the size of an ant. That we consider a million viewers huge in a country with 300 million people puts things in perspective.

I'm more interested in the Mexican ratings where they care about boxing.

You said it cause he mexican. We go out and support our fighters. We get rediculed for nationalism or what not but we support our fighters, watch their fights, buy their ppvs, buy their tickets. That why Most PPV have to involve a mexican cause the boxing world knows we support our fighters. Now if other poeple will support their fighters maybe you can see your fighters on tv and on main events too.

I bet if this fight was on NBC 2.8 rating with 6 million viewers, Showtime is premium cable, Canelo next fight should be on NBC

So is that number for only that fight? Or the average for the entire card? Is there someway to actually know how many people changed channels by the time Canelo/Lopez came on or even during the fight?

Not "HUGE" but still very solid considering they was going head to head with a PPV, so if your have 1 million+ still watching your channel and switching away from their PPV to see whats going on Showtime...THAT IS A WIN FOR SHOWTIME!
