Golovkin-Geale Should Happen

Whoever wins has a very strong case to challenge Martinez especially if Martinez stays at MW and rematches Chavez. Either one would have a better resume than Chavez if they came away with the victory (I expect Golovkin would for the record).

I know money is a huge factor, but the winner of this fight would be legitimate challenge and if Golovkin wins in spectacular fashion then he may continue to buld a name for himself.

I suppose Pirog is there for either, but Quillin and N'Jikam won't be able to go in December.

This fight really makes sense and it is a mandatory for Geale. HBO looks like it does have room in December from what I can gather.

Their careers run the risk of stagnating to an extent if they don't square off against quality opposition. Not saying they don't want to as fighters may be avoiding them (especially Golovkin).

WBA ordered they unify their belts so Geale has until Sept 20 to decide if he'll fight Golovkin, if he doesn't he gets stripped of his WBA Super belt. HBO has been in talks with Geale too and definitely want Golovkin back so if Geale chooses to fight Soliman instead it's a duck. Geale won't be able to make more money or get more exposure fighting in his homeland where he's still rather unknown.

Also no biggy to him if he gets stripped, he still has the IBF strap anyways
