You and LDB are on the same page. That is EXACTLY what LDB said in the post-fight presser.

In fact, LBD told the room that a Maravilla-Hijo revancha "would not be fought under the same financial terms".

Expect Arum to claim that Maravilla priced himself out.

No one is beating Sergio Martinez at middle weight.

Golovkin, Pirog, Quillin and Geale should be fighting each other like a Middle Weight tournament. They should prove their worth fighting one another.

golovkin and martinez are two of my favorite active fighters but triple g would wear martinez out with his pressure, accuracy and power...probably stop him (at this point)

hopefully golovkin's hbo exposure will bring him closer to any of those fights...honestly pirog and quillin have never looked like threats to martinez or ggg

Golovkin had one big KO over some guy not even on Martinez's level and all of a sudden he is a threat? The guy may be good but Martinez is a great fighter and right now wouldn't bet against him at all. He KO's his opponents and straight out boxes them. No matter the size or power of them.

I agree, the MW division is pretty underrated, some good fights to be made.

Martinez got a guaranteed 1.5 million, but he also gets a percentage of PPV's, so, depending what percentage he negotiated for and how well the PPV sales were will determine how much he will really make. Just as an example, if the event did 800 k ppvs, which is a lot, and Martinez gets 10% of that, then he'll get an additional 4 million.

In any case, Martinez is in the twilight of his career and has earned the right to fight on the big stage. At this point of his career, Golovkin, Pirog, or Geale are not really big stars. Martinez is looking for fights against name guys like Mayweather or Cotto.
