before yesterday, i totally hated the idea of having 2 big fights on 2 different networks. but gotta admit, it was pretty cool watching 1 fight on my laptop and the other on my tv. didnt really pay too much attention to the canelo fight as it was happening right at the same time as chavez, but was watching the santa cruz and maidana fight at the aame time as the hbo card. but was glad the canelo fight ended early. i have mixed feelings about it, but overall, i think it was fun and a good day of boxing
So, was having 2 big fights on 2 different networks good or bad?

It was cool at the party I was at they had both running on big ass TVs side by side so it was constant action.
People like those first days of March Madness when you can watch tons of basketball, it was like boxing's equivalent to that.
The more boxing on the better IMO. -

I ended up ordering the PPV and I had the Showtime event on a river and I watched about 5 minutes out of the WHOLE thing. I was too much into the PPV.
Might be good for the fans who can DVR or river it but I don't think it's good for the fighters/promoters.Comment

It was hectic. It helped the showtime card had a lot of shortish fights. Likewise for the Canelo fight. Let me concentrate on the second half of chavez - Martinez. Both events delivered imp. Canelo destruction, Martinez domination with a heart stopping last round. KOs galore, some slick boxing tossed in too via Rigo and Martinez. Hell, even an ugly fight in Ponce fight, a damn good fight too with Beltran-Martinez. My heart couldnt take all this action. I fell asleep after a few post martinez/chavez posts. Felt like I had worked a full day. Lol. Almost Everything you love about boxing basically happened on Saturday. Epic.Comment
