From round 1 to 11, Martinez made it a very boring fight.

Wrong there my brother Chavez was the one who made the fight a snooze fest by letting Martinez speed completely and entirely mess up hes timing he couldn't get off, that's precisely what Martinez had to do and socked the hell out of the guys head during the whole fight.

It's not like Martinez is getting any younger, though. Plus, JCC took some good shots from Martinez and never seemed bothered, although, he did seem hesitant too engage so maybe Martinez' punches demanded some respect.

yeah it would have been more entertaining if he tried to stand and fight chavez earlier. but we already knew martinez had a very weak chin and couldn't fight like a true warrior, so the fight was like a discoteca until 12 round.

But there were times when I kept tell myself, "man just go for the knockout". It's possible if he would have tried to step it up a little more he could have got chavez out of there, instead of wasting so much energy and nearly running completely out of gas by the 12th round.

In the end dominating performance by Sergio, but could have been even better imo.
The only way Sergio could have had a better performance is if he got up from that knockdown to then put Chavez on the canvas. If he stops Chavez next time like Williams, I still would rank his performance in the first fight to be superior.
