Lopez fought them both and he said Canelo was much better in every way. Look at the difference in their performances against the same man. Ortiz never hurt him much in the whole fight. Canelo hurt him alot in each round. I agree with Lopez. Canelo is superior to Ortiz in every way. He KOs Ortiz in 6 rounds or less.
