I was really surprised that HBO was trying to push for the rematch.

The fight was fairly boring, noncompetitive, and frankly embarrassing on the part of Chavez.

Roach was even talking about stopping the fight...

Martinez showed that he is a has the heart of a champion in the last round, and watching it again, he wasn't really close to getting stopped.

He got hurt and went down, he didn't hold, he went man to man with Chavez got is wits about him and fought it out the rest of the round.

In fact.. with 40 seconds left in the round, it was CHAVEZ who was trying to hold Martinez while Martinez was the one throwing punches.
