    MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Marcos “Chino” Maidana and Jesus Soto Karass wasted no time and went to war from the get go and put on a thrilling affair. Both fighters traded heavily and took turns landing hard flush shots as the crowd roared with each one.                 I thought the stoppage was a tad early - especially given Soto Karass's history - but not shockingly so. And the Ref did have a good look.

                Fantastic fight though.

                    So far the best fight of the night. It lived up to its expectations. Stoppage was appropriate.
