Sulaiman is a very crooked man. Him having ANY say whatsoever about which judges are chosen for this bout is a BLATANTLY OBVIOUS conflict of interest. That dude is the epitome of what is hurting the sport.

Great news but the judges won't be needed anyway.

The writer went for the throat lol. Sulaiman has a lot of nerve wanting to choose the judges.

You sound like ignorant, which you don't normally. As for the concocted "news", the very fight they've mentioned, MannyP and Bradley, when the WBO re-judged it, they announced that apanel "of WBO judges" would re-do it. There are certainly panels of WBC judges and referees. They have refresher courses for them, Also they often co-work bouts with those of other organisations and jurisdictions. Perhaps some judges are accredited to the IBF and etc. as well. But WBC boasts about it's better judges and referees.

Perhaps WBC has problems with certain judges? Idec may assume, like many small-susbstance writers, that readers don't. I think Suleiman has a legitimate complaint.
As for the "BIG" issue of Chavez being Suleiman's god-son, that's no sort of big deal. A man in Suleimans' position could have lots of godsons and may not even remember or care who most of them are.

Some of my comments are speculation-but not all- just as Idec's are.

Martinez still needs to go for the KO. At least to make a statement.

Could be a valid point but who many of his god sons are celebrities and have the type of profile Chavez does? Chavez is a god son you just don't forget you have. And let's not forget how Chavez was handed that WBC belt.
