I'm with you, I don't think Mickey have what it takes to beat Salido

The only way he could win. Remember the Salido-Juanma I & II cards? Arum will not let his fighter get ruined by Salido AGAIN.

IMO ,Lara will win but not in FL...this state can't put on any type of big show for whatever reason...1 thing is neither guy will fight Alvarez next year...Cotto is mentioned, then who knows, another year, the most protected guy in boxing, fights neither his #1 pr his mandatory, a shame...

if you a draw you will draw well anywhere, because fans will go even if they are not mexicans or cubans or whatever, berto in his own town couldn't draw anything, ward is american and only fights in oakland,i doubt he would fill up anywhere in vegas, you are either a draw or not,and if you are you have fans everywhere and it will show in ppv sales too, cotto fan base is mostly in the east coast but he does well in ppv,i doubt lara would

salido isn't really a hard puncher,he ko'd juanma only because juama really cant' take a punch, salido just makes you really work, never stops throwing punches, puts pressure on you,and who knows if garcia can take a punch,we know salido can be knocked down but he gets right up,garcia has never been in a tough fight, salido has,i really don't think much of garcia, lets see how he looks against a very, very experienced fighter

he has to fight vanes/lara winner,i really think wbc will force it like they did chavez/martinez,it's only the right thing to do,although i think it will be at end of 2013,if canelo does end up beating cotto, that there is a big fight itself,so i doubt he'll take two consecutive tough fights,he would either have a long rest or take an easy fight in sept then face vanes/lara in december,i think the winner of lara/vanes should really voice their opinion to the wbc and order them to make the fight in sept after cotto/canelo(thats if they fight) either of these two should face vanes/lara winner in 2013

I agree with every word in bold. But although Salido isn't a KO artist, he has respectable power. He punches hard enough that the accumulation is tough to withstand. As you so aptly said yourself, Orlando doesn't stop throwing punches. (I don't think JuanMa's chin is terribly suspect. He faded against Mtagwa and was stopped twice by "Siri" on account of the qualities we've already agreed on.) I think Garcia will have his hands full with a relentless, balls-out warrior like Salido. If Mikey gets past him, he'll have impressed me greatly.

Sheit, Salido might be getting old in this one...Can I root for both Garcia and Salido at the same time?
