They both got stopped.

A "stoppage" is a safe way to say KO'ed, TKO'ed, Ref stoppage, Doctor stoppage, Corner threw in the towel, Fighter quit on his stool, fighter took a knee. You name it, it's all a stoppage. It's an all-purpose word.

The other day there was an audio on NSB of Scully saying he "realized" Dawson was having issues with weight 2 weeks before the fight.

anybody who watched Chad's fights knew he wasn't there against Ward....but whatever the case, you gotta give Ward is props and credit for what he done in there against Chad....it is what it is

when they showed Chad in the dressing room before the fight sitting there listening to his head phones, he looked gone...walking to the ring, he looked gone....after 2 or 3 rounds, he was gone...smh

What makes you certain of that? One thing we've always known is Miranda packs a serious punch. I don't see why anyone here would be shocked this happened.
