Comments Thread For: Roach Could See Ward in Chavez's Future, Not Geale

Veteran trainer Freddie Roach could see a potential fight down the line between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-0-1, 32KOs) and Andre Ward (26-0, 14KOs).

First, Chavez has to overcome the most difficult test of his entire career - when he defends his WBC middleweight title against Sergio Martinez (49-2-2, 28KOs) on Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

the only way this fight happens is if there is a Arum/Suliaman screw job in the Jr/Martinez (Jr wins by bad stgoppage/crappy decision). If it does, beware Andre the Arum/Suliamn screw job could happen to you!

bull crap statement from a bull crap trainer. ward will literally ruin this immature kids career. but i can see jr vs pavlik. the title would be alcoholic vs alcoholic helping arum fill his old pockets.

No need for it to get that far, Sergio will handle the deed accordingly.

The key to beating Jr. is to "GO MAYWEATHER ON HIM" and "MAKE HIM SUBMIT TO UNRESTRICTED OST!!! No way this dude isn't on something, he doesn't even take his training serious now all of a sudden he has a super chin, GTFOHWTBS!!! 3 fights in a row that he has been allowed to duck testing and he's been caught in the pass. You can't be foolish and macho in boxing you have to be smart and not allow a fighter to cheat, especially a suspected fighter. If he walks through Sergio the writing would be on the wall cause like Sergio said, this guy hasn't beaten anyone in the Top 100 P4P.
