Unbeaten lightweight Carlos Molina will fight on November 3rd in Atlantic City, NJ, manager Frank Espinoza told BoxingScene.com
Molina will fight on the same Golden Boy Promotions card that will be headlined by unbeaten Adrien Broner. Speculation is that Broner could fight Antonio DeMarco, who successfully defended his title on Saturday against John Molina.
No word yet on who Molina would fight on a scheduled 10 round bout.
"We're still looking for an opponent for him," said Espinoza.
Molina (17-0-1, 7 KOs) won a hard-fought 10 round unanimous decision over Marcos Leonardo Jimenez on June 16th. With the victory, the Rosemead, CA resident won a regional title belt.
Molina, who is managed by Espinoza and promoted by Golden Boy, has won his last three bouts in a row since a disappointing eight round split decision draw to Juan Montiel in August of last year.
According to Espinoza, Molina's fight will be televised on Showtime Extreme. There is an outside possibility Molina's fight may land on the regular Showtime Championship Boxing telecast. [Click Here To Read More]
