Ward needs to go to Bute's home town and destroy him and then move up and give Dawson a rematch at 175 on Dawson's turf or in Vegas.

I'm an old school guy so I'd prefer Ward stayed at the weight for as long as he can and take on contenders as they come.

How about some Props to his Trainer Virgil Hunter...he is the reigning TRAINER OF THE YEAR and I think he comes up with some great gameplans and unlike most of the fighters today...Ward actually LISTENS to his Trainer

So I give major respect to Virgil Hunter, I think him and Pablo Sarmiento while both have won trainer of the year over the last few years, they both are still EXTREMELY UNDERRATED!

In terms of what can get him the most money, he can fight Bute in Montreal.

Or Kessler in Denmark. Or Froch in Notthingham.

I'm assuming that they can pay him enough to make it worth his while to go to their backyards.

Martinez isn't moving up to 68, so Ward's best hope would be for Chavez to pull off the victory Saturday and move up to SMW. Martinez has had his sights set on Mayweather and Cotto for a very long time.

If that doesn't happen, a match with Dirrell would make sense for HBO. Not a chance in hell Ward or HBO would be interested in going to the UK or Denmark for rematches with either Froch or Kessler. Best bet would be to have the winners of Froch-Bute and Kessler-Abraham face each other for a shot at Ward and creating an undisputed champion. However, I'm sure one of the sanctioning bodies will do their best to make sure that doesn't happen.

Winner of Martinez - Chavez Jr. (Though they will probably target Mayweather)

              Andre Dirrell

              Anthony Dirrell

              Thomas Oosthuizen

              Tavoris Cloud

              Nathan Cleverly

              Kessler (rematch)

              Gennady Golovkin

              Daniel Geale

              Peter Quillin

There are No interesting fights left for Ward. Period. He's dominated everyone who supposedly stood a chance of beating him.

if our man carl froch goes through this next fellah and then beats kessler.....
a rematch with better odds me thinks!
i would pick carl in a rematch if he beats kessler.
there is nothing dawson didnt get saturday night that carl froch was eating (and enjoying) all night when they fought the distance.
i certainly underestimated andre ward before the froch fight as i think carl did but, beating "sad" chad was not his best so far, it was beating carl froch.
we know carl can box, just look at the abraham fight, we know he punches very hard and most definately has the hardest chin in the sport at the moment.
a better game plan would do the trick but, long time friend and trainer robert mccracken would have to go though.
bring in a trainer who can manage speed.
if carl had speed, he would beat ward.
                  ward is great though.

The man is only 28 years old and in boxing that means he's simply in his prime and has another 6-7 top years left and up to 10 competitive years left...that's a lot of time left when you're already NOW considered one of the best fighters in recent memory, in the 168lb conversation with Jones, Tony, Calzaghe, Froch...

Another big win or a couple years as a dominant champion, he's already in HOF territory so early.

I just hope fans respect that.
Ward will clean up 175, Pascal, Campillo, Cloud, Cleverly. Then fans will ask for him to stick around and face every new "dangerous" challenger from 168-175. He beats them, then a new one appears. Or some lower 10 contender gets a big win and all of a sudden Ward will "duck" him. Every one who Ward had beaten to that point, would have something wrong with them.

"Froch had AIDS", "He cheated against Kessler", "Bika was robbed", "Abraham was a midget", "Pascal was a 4 round fighter", "Johnson and Campillo beat Cloud first". The list goes on. Get ready.

I will start the Andre Ward hate train: Chad Dawson was weightdrained.

Carl Froch is half way through 40 as we speak. He might be a young 35 since he started a bit late, but he's going to get slower, not faster, and he's not a mover, he's gonna slow down. Ward is only 28, he'll still be prime at 29-30 when a Ward-Froch II fight could take place, while Froch would be 36-37 and possibly past prime.
