The WBC needs to only be recognized as a regional belt now.

Andre Ward holds the WBC and WBA belts doesn't he? Yet they haven't stripped him?

The organization is a joke and lowers the legitimacy of world titles and boxing. Should be banned.

Actually they did strip ward and then the next day they he announced his fight with Dawson so they basically allowed ward to fight for his belt back

Fans want to see all the major titles unified by one fighter, but this is why we can't ever see that. The Ring and Lineal titles should be the only titles to really matter and The Ring title is what Garcia has so he's good. Alphabet titles are good to lure other titlists, especially if you don't really have good drawing power, your title can always draw. But really, being recognized as the man to beat in your division[Ring champ] is better than any other title.
