Steve Kim is a pimply-faced assclown. There's a reason that he is still on boxing blogs. But I clicked the link, so he would get his penny.

Cotto said he didn't want to fight at 145 unless the title wasn't on the line. He eventually caved because Pacquiao was the shot caller and that's just how it is in boxing.

Andre Ward wasn't saying Chad Dawson's name. Chad called Andre out and readily offered to fight him in Oakland at 168.

I don't have an opinion on either guy being weight drained because they signed the contracts knowing it would be a challenge to make the weight. If they misjudged that's their fault and no way should it make their loss less legitimate, and thus it shouldn't make their opponent's win any less credible.
Dawson wanted a catchweight but eventually caved because Ward is the shot caller

It isn't ****** to think that a fighter is drained. My eyes told me Dawson and Cotto had no reserves and both got weaker and weaker as their fights went on. To me that is a sign of being drained. Also punch out put becomes less and less. Both Dawson and Cotto damn near starved weighing in at 168 and 145. Looking good at the weigh in is one thing, fighting 12 hard ass rounds is another.

I don't fault Pacquiao or Ward since both of their opponents agreed to come in less. But both WERE drained making 145 and 168.

so that means cotto was drained against margarito.

                  According to your eyes.

De La Hoya and Dawson is probably the better comparison.

Pacquiao weighed in at 138 for the Hatton fight, and at that time could've still made LW. That's why Steve is pointing out the clear double standards.

Drug tests, catch weights all that doesn't matter unless Pacquiao is somehow involved. FFS Mayweather wanted Shane Mosley to cheat.

Whatever Pac does there is an outcry of boycotting his fights, you can search on youtube for Pacquiao and see all the boycotting videos from guys who Apparently don;t care about Pacquiao but make videos on him daily.

If someone called Pac out and fought him at 147 for pacs title and went down in weight, Pac would get blasted hard. I am starting to believe nobody really cares about Catchweights, these people who have a problem with it and drug testing only doing so because they want to discredit Pacquiao.

I have never seen anyone get this pissed off at catchweights until Pacman had one versus Cotto, and nobody was demanding about drug testing until Floyd suspecting Pac of roids.
I am a firm believer that "if you sign, you fight". No excuses. Cotto had a terrible gameplan and thats what cost him.
