I think that Pacquiao wants the Bradley rematch, but Arum and the firm he hires have estimated that JMM IV will garner him a bigger purse than the Bradley rematch.
I think Manny prefers the Bradley rematch to having to go through another JMM fight (a testament to how much of a thorn JMM is to him), but he also wants to fight for the most money and it isn't estimated to be Bradley (thus a lower guarantee).Comment

It is simple the money ain't right, the first fight did alright (great for anyone else) but I don't see how the second fight could do better and probably would do worse.
If it made sense money wise the fight would have been a done deal already.Comment

Finances, Marquez is the biggest available option besides Floyd since Cotto has a fight lined up.
A lot of people are unhappy for the out come of Pac/Bradley fight and wont generate the numbers that they would be looking for to cover all the guaranteed moneyComment

It's all about money... JMM 3 was Pac's highest PPV, while Cotto was Floyd's (outside of ODLH).
So it's a no brainer to try to fight either guys over Bradley, especially since that PPV didn't sell "well".
Also, the general consensus at the time was that Floyd was given a gift against Castillo. So think Bradley = Floyd, and Bradley does want the rematch against Pac.
Oh, let's not forget that Manny tried fighting JMM for the rubbermatch early 2010, as a replacement for the failed negotiations with Floyd.
Until GBP priced out JMM with a 50/50 w/OST demands.Comment
